New 34mm Konus mounts: more solidity, more accuracy, more control over shooting

In sport shooting and precision hunting, the quality of the optics is crucial, but so is the way it is attached to the weapon. An inadequate attack can defeat even the best scope, compromising repeatability, zeroing, and confidence in the instrument. With the new 34 mm mounts, Konus further expands its already established range of steel mounts, offering solutions designed for those who use large diameter optics and demand maximum reliability, shot after shot.

Both new models arise from a clear philosophy: ensuring absolute stability and endurance over time. The choice of steel as the construction material ensures a solid structure, capable of withstanding the stresses generated by recoil without deformation, even with demanding gauges. Anti-oxidation burnishing protects attacks from wear and tear and weathering, making them suitable for heavy use both at the range and on hunting grounds.

The 34 mm diameter meets the needs of the most modern and high-performance optics, often equipped with larger tubes to offer a wider adjustment range. The high 40 mm profile allows the mounting of scopes with a front bell up to 60 mm, ensuring correct alignment and adequate clearance relative to the barrel. This results in a more natural firing position and better overall ergonomics of the weapon.

Great attention was paid to mechanical sealing. The square anti-recoil mechanism works effectively against unwanted retraction of the optic, keeping the point of impact constant even after numerous shooting sessions. The high-strength Torx screws, four for each ring, allow uniform pressure distribution on the optic tube, reducing the risk of stress and ensuring precise and controlled tightening. Konus recommends a clamp between 1.5 and 1.8 Nm, which is ideal for achieving maximum safety without compromising the integrity of the optics.

The #7422 model stands out for the presence of the quick release lever, a solution particularly appreciated by those who want to remove or reposition the optics quickly, without losing zeroing. It is the ideal choice for those who alternate different configurations or require a flexible system, capable of adapting to different operational contexts quickly.

The #7421 model, without the quick release, represents the perfect solution for those looking for a fixed mounting, extremely robust and designed to remain stable over time. Constructive simplicity translates into absolute solidity, ideal for those who, once they have found the correct layout, no longer intend to modify it.
