The Konus thermal visor line is enriched with a top model that represents the pinnacle of technology currently available. Responding to market demands, Konus introduces a thermal lens that combines ease of use, an exceptional 50 mm focal length and rechargeable batteries, all in a compact and durable design, similar to that of a traditional rifle lens.
The device is equipped with two built-in rechargeable batteries, with the possibility of installing an additional removable battery 18500 3.7V (sold separately), for which a dedicated charger is provided. This configuration significantly extends the operational autonomy. In addition, the battery charge level is constantly monitored through two separate indicators visible on the display.
Designed to withstand the most extreme conditions, this lens boasts a recoil resistance of up to 6000 Joules. To make a comparison, a rifle caliber . 308 generates a recoil of less than 3500 Joules, emphasizing the reliability and structural solidity of this instrument.
The main controls are located near the eyepiece: the power button and two dedicated keys for quick management of color palettes and image and video capture functions. The menu, accessible with a long press of the joystick, offers extensive customization of the user experience, including the selection of 10 reticles in 8 different colors. Interesting is the possibility to choose between a monochromatic or bichromatic view of the reticles, highlighting the center point in a different color for a more effective target capture.
The lens has six preset calibration profiles, eliminating the need for repeated manual adjustments. It also has a comparison rangefinder, based on the principle of reticles used in nautical binoculars: knowing the size of the target, the user can estimate its distance with a calculation.
The focus is adjusted via the dial on the lens, while the dioptric adjustment on the eyepiece allows for optimal adaptation to the user’s vision. The advanced features include programmable auto-off and the ability to automatically record every shot fired.
